This is the whole problem for me - I can't get 3G/EV to work on my phone, I think a profile update might help the situation... I have tried over wi-fi to no avail. I have tried multiple clean/dirty flashes, calling sprint, checking baseband (VD), etc... without a good solution. I have wiped everything multiple times and this problem persisits.

Are you absolutely sure you have a zvd radio? That is the usual problem with using zvd software and not using a zvd radio. You can not rely on the "about phone" info to tell you the true radio info as that is just largely text that is being "reprinted" from the build.props. If nothing else, you may want to consider installing zvd say via kp500 and then checking prl/profile update, and then rooting with gingerbreak/snap, and then installing recovery if necessary. I say the latter, because your custom recovery may still be there. I'd check before flashing another custom recovery.

IDEA: Instead of the above, first maybe you should try installing a zvc-based rom, trying prl/profile update. If that doesn't work, install a zv9-based rom, and again try prl/profile update.

Is there a way to change the action associated with the voice dial physical button? I used to like being able to push it and have the voice dialer come up. With Reborn, it brings up my contact list. Long pressing it redials my last number. I've also noticed that when using my bluetooth headset, I can no longer push the button on the headset to bring up the voice dialer. Any suggestions?

Funny you should mention that, I'd been considering writing a walk through to remap hardware keys, seems a few people may be interested, give me a few hours as I just got off work, need to eat, etc.

Phone was bricked - used the method with ADB and V8 to unbrick. Does anyone know if there is a working link for the V8 to V9 fix? The one I found when searching was a broken link. Phone will not auto update since the fix was based on the V9 kernel and will not OTA update.

Shoot, I don't have it. But I would like someone else to verify this, I'm thinkin you can use LG Updater tool.

Maybe this is not necessary anymore since VC and VD came out ... the phone appeared to do an OTA update to VC and I am expecting an OTA to VD soon as well.

If you want to use Voice Dial with Bluetooth, then you need the Voice Dial application. It has been removed from this ROM presumably because Voice Actions are better but they don't work with Bluetooth (for me) Here's a thread with links on how to get the Voice Dial working again.

Maybe in the next update a fix for the green line on the screen while running netflix then this rom will be absollutley perfect unlike my spelling. Great job on this rom fast and exellent battery life what more could ya ask for!!!!! THANKS!!

I don't know if this is a ROM problem but my 3g service seems to have been interupted significantly, "ev" no longer shows up anymore, its weird

I seem to have problem on 2.1 with my bluetooth. The phone frequently does not connect with my car. I do not remember that I had the same problem with 2.0 though. So, I ended up flashing back to 2.0, and will report back on how it goes.
