I had a # but you are right, I forgot to give the emulator SU permission. Boneheaded mistake. Thanks for the help. :)

No problem - I see you fixed it yourself while I was composing my message. This thread is moving fast!

I would clear your data in settings>applications for the email app and re-enter your email account info. I started fresh (did not restore via TB) while setting up my email accounts and have had no issues.

And that worked like a charm.

Thanks

anyone able to load AudioGalaxy? i use this app a lot!
it says can't connect, this can happen if you have installed an ad-block/overclock app or a custom rom which incorrectly blocks audiogalaxy.

thanks for any info!

Try installing adfree and reverting hosts file instead of downloading hosts file.

Nice! I was really upset that CM7 has the issues with static and Bluetooth so Ive been using ThundeROM but now that I see this rom here I will be moving to it.

Thanks!

Try reflashing the rom. Also are you using the Roam app? (when i tried it, i can make calls using the roam app, but cant use the internet)

Yeah i am and ive tried reflahing like 3 times.... im confused how exactly does the roam app work i thought it was just like a settings menu

Awesome, save 1 small issue

Truly, awesome. Really as the title would suggest I'm only having one issue and it's just a small annoyance/aesthetics bit.

When I pull up text messaging and hit back from a conversation it throws me into my browser history rather than the main text window.

Normally I would expect to see all my active conversations but instead I have to go into contacts and click on the person individually to find the conversation I was having.

It's not bad enough to stop me from using the rom or anything, I really do love it. But it would be nice if there were a fix, I just don't even know where to begin to try to solve that one myself.

Thanks.

I'm having a hard time understand what you're describing, Let me tell you what happens on my phone, which is how the system is supposed to react ....

1) I open the text messaging app and am greeted by a list of all the people i have threaded text conversations with.
2) I can click on an individual and it shows me the entire threaded conversation between me and the individual.
3) I hit the back button and it takes me back to the list i saw in step one, all of the people i have threaded conversations with.
4) If i hit back again it takes me to the home screen.

This is how it's supposed to work and how it does work in this ROM.

Sorry if I'm unclear, let me try again. What you described above is what it used to do, on both the stock and thundeROM.

But now instead of a list of threads I get whatever the last screen I had pulled up in browser is.

If I receive or send a text to someone I can see the conversation I am having with them, but again if I try to use the back button to get to the main threads list it takes me to whatever the previous page I had open in the browser was.

Let me ask this, are you in the browser, then receive a text, then pull down the notification bar to open the text, then hit back which takes you back to the browser?

To put it in an easier to read format, is what is happening:
1) You are in the browser
2) Someone texts you
3) You pull down the notification window and open the text
4) You reply or read it or whatever
5) You hit back and it takes you back to the browser

No, thank you for asking though as that would definitely make sense.

This happens every time I click the messaging button on the launcher.

EDIT: I noticed it today after I'd been having a conversation with a friend, I hadn't used the browser since yesterday.

are you using a 3rd party launcher? Did you do a full wipe (data/cache/dalvik) prior to installing the ROM? Did you use any kind of data/app restore service such as titanium backup?

Weirdness, but fixed.

Ok, so I really don't know why this worked but a fix is a fix.
I flashed it back to a nandroid backup a did last night after adding a theme.
I had made no changes since than and today but the messaging does work now.
Sorry to have bothered yall with a non-issue.

all's well that ends well. Glad it's working.

Oh jeez How do we remap the voice button on the side? The darn thing frikkin redials the last person who called me or the last call i made.

Hey KSmith, any word on HTC icons?

I would say no. That makes it too lego'ey (for lack of better words), more things to update if we make changes, more variables for troubleshooting. More of everything we don't want and less time enjoying our phones, friends, and family.
