Nick, I am not knocking the instructions you provide, but knowing I didn't need to wipe data would have been nice to know before hand. I just lost about 10 saved text messages as my SMS backup failed me. Would not have happened if I just wiped over.
do i sense sadness... :P

You should always make nandroid backups and/or use Titanium Backup before flashing new roms. I've seen them mention a number of times before that you don't need to do a complete wipe when you just update roms. Now you know. THANKS for v2!

My instructions pretty clearly say to make a nandroid before flashing. Sorry for your loss but I cannot be held accountable.

Exactly what I was going to say.

Nick and KSmith,
You've outdone yourselves on this one. Thanks guys for all the hard work!!! Awesome job!!! :D

Just curious, is ondemand any better in this version of ROM than the interactive governor?

Gets rid of the IQagent software, which helps with battery life and better performance.

when it says don't wipe data before flashing the noiq does that mean you just can't wipe data or can i do the precaution of always wiping cache and dalvik?

also, what's the last icon on the new power bar thing?....the one with a slash and arrows

Just don't wipe anything. There really isn't any reason to anyways.

That icon is for screen rotation.

Don't wipe anything before flashing noiqagent. The reason you need to boot in between is because the patch specifically requires the cache (which is built on first boot).

Nick, if I flash a theme will it eliminate the notification power bar? I don't want to lose it! Awesome work on this ROM!

Oh yeah thanks for bringing that up!

Themes will kill a ton of tweaks in this ROM including the notification power widget.
