I know this has probably been answered, here is what happens i replace stock browser in dock with xscope browser and Everytime i reboot phone it changes back to the stock icon and program in my dock can anyone tell me how to keep my xscope browser in thr dock? Thanks

Move the browser from the sd card back to the phone.

Flash a theme or try shell ROM.

You can wipe cache from recovery, or use an app like Root Explorer to delete downloaded .apk files that may be in your cache partition.

haven't tried lately but a week or so ago i had problems with the gps also. took forever to lock in and the connection was medium-weak and was lost easily and frequently =/

Okay maybe i'm ******ed but I just noticed that when I make or received a phone call the 3g icon drops and i'm left with regular reception. As far as I was aware voice should be over 3g as well. I have fantastic coverage so thats not the problem but the instant I make or receive a call the 3g icon drops and my reception doesn't seem great. Like I said maybe I'm ******ed and its supposed to do that because i never payed any attention previously.

I could be mistaken, but I think Sprint doesn't allow for voice and data at the same time, (so those cool ATT commericals where he's talking on the phone and browsing the internet? no go for us).

In any case, mistaken or not, my data drops out as son as I make a call too. Not just 3G dropping out, (i.e., i don't drop to 1G), but all data drops out.

Edit: Google backs me up. 3G and voice aren't possible on CDMA simultaneously, (but they are on GSM). 4G and voice, however, are possible.

So if you want voice and data simultaneously, move to a place with 4G and buy a Nexus.

Wasn't talking about at the same time. My phone will be sitting there doing nothing. I get or make a call and the 3g drops. No data is being used so I would assume that voice should go over 3g. I know about the CDMA limitation but I would think if i'm not using data that my calls should be over 3g.

Calls and text are made over 1xrtt. When you make or receive a call, the radio must disconnect evdo and connect to 1xrtt for that function to work. Same on all sprint phones.

Found it interesting today that my phone spontaneously rebooted... I'm running reborn 2.0 not reborn 2.1... it had an up time of several days...

I think log files are wiped on reboot so I didn't bother with trying to capture a logcat...

Actually, I had that happen a couple of times with 2.0 now that you mention it. I didn't think much of it though. Has not happened on 2.1

Finally took the plunge and wiped from TR 1.8.3 to Reborn - zero issues. Love the ROM. Thank you!

Working on downloading 2.1... for some reason, the link wouldn't work in Chrome (for me) so I'm downloading it via Firefox and it's telling me something ridiculous like 2 hours remaining to download...

Was getting ~ 7k in Firefox... and ~ 12k in IE 9... normally I get quite a bit faster than that...

make sure on your wireless adapter (plugged into computer) is connected to correct network. Also check your firewall settings.

I just tried the wireless tether and it worked fine for me
