Much better 3G signal on my device than Froyo. Ran stock,ComRom,Nameless,and now CM7.

I believe there were bits and pieces borrowed from the nexus for this ROM (portions of the .35 kernel I think) so that is why you are getting that message. No worries.

Lolol, yeah, I got the same thing. I thought that it was just my friend signing me up for updates on his phone since he just got a Nexus S. He thinks he's a developer now. (this is his first android phone; he came from an iphone)

Posting this question here and not on XDA for 2 reason...

1) I do not have enough posts to reply in the Dev section on XDA.... i mainly just lurk there and post here.

2) The GB thread there is really long!

Anyway... has the SD card issue been resolved yet for this ROM? And how stable has this ROM been?

I ask because I currently love my UKB 2.1 set up, however, my 3G in this area is really bad, and I would also like to use Netfilx as well.

Any info would be great guys, thanks in advance!

It's in pretty big, bold red letters in the OP that the SD card bug is still present... Any ROM based off the leak will have it, most likely

As Kevin said, SD card issue is still present. No fix or workaround has been discovered. However, just recently a bunch of people have been posting on XDA and have found one odd commonality. Everyone who has had an SD card fry has been a class 2 SD card. Anyone using a class 4 or higher has not had that card fried by the EC09 ROM. Not sure if that will turn out to be the root of the problem, also not sure I want to risk a class 4 or higher card just to flash EC09. I am also very happy right now on on UKB 2.1, but CM7 and OMFGB are getting very close to tempting me. Ahhh, it's nice to finally have this many good choices for the Fascinate.

Yes, the stock samsung cards and the replacement sandisk ones you get from verizon now are class 2

Lurking hard on this lately, staying with current 4now, it's great but it has a bug or two and the +'s in GB would be great..

Anyway 1st I'd heard of the SD "card class 2, 4 x...". Interesting. Could a "class 2" card be "fried" by components in Fascinates or PC's trying to run @ "class 4" speeds? Probably a dumb idea. Just checked this for a vague glimpse:

Anyway thanks to all the dev's, commenters and 'specially the help maintaining/cross posting the forums. Making AC the best "one stop" for us Fassy owners.
