[ROM] RvU 1.3.2 WORKING 4G!!! Sync Fixed / ROM Manager Support

My g/f gets great battery life even before flash gb's great kernel.Do you have you email and other accounts set to sync ever 15min,cause taht would eat battery. To flash the kernel just download the zip and place on root of sdcard, boot into recovery flash the zip, reboot and your set to go.

I only use gmail. That has push right?? So i cant change that or can i?

Don't forget the kernel is set to max at 1152 and setcpu let's you go higher. I am not sure what happens when you set above the kernel's max.

ah,

you know that may have been it. 1152 eh. I'll give it another shot now =)

do I need to do something special cause my setcpu only shows max at 998. I have flashed this with the 1.4 version found on page 57

also is there any way I could install the vanilla lock screen on this rom, I tried using the one that flipz has for his rom but it doesn't work properly on this one.

You need to go back a couple pages and also flash the custom kernel.

alright thanks, anyway anybody know if its possible to make the vanila screen work on this rom, i'm really liking this rom but hate the htc lock screen

also is it possible to use the evoswitch app from xda to get better fps with the kernal.

check out the custom oc kernals with fps unlocked at xda, they have on for each screen.

BTW, set it to 1158 and it works great! But when i set it to 12XX i get bad results.

do you know which kernel works better overal, this one here or that one from xda

search to main forums, or in adb, go into su and then dmesg i think all the info that has to do with screens is tagged with a [7]

Both work as advertised for me. However the uncapped fps causes my screen to be too jittery and sometimes horizontal distortion from quick movements.

I've been switching between a few roms, and before I started I had rvu 1.3.2. I used titanium backup, and it worked fine.

But when i Restore everything, in the new rom, it seems to have problems with teh native mail client. It won't sync based on the programs schedule. Anyone else have this issue?

Will try to see if I have it with other roms.

EDIT: Looks like this is a problem caused by something else.

Well, I have been using the RvU 1.4 since it was posted last week. I am liking it. Still stable and smooth. Thanks Keith and Jerry. Not finding any bugs to report.

Maybe I'm missing something, but when/where was RvU 1.4 posted? I am currently running 1.3.2 and loving it and have been not-so-patiently waiting for an update :D

It is posted several posts back, but heed this warning. It is not official yet. They posted it for us to test. I have heard of no issues yet. This will probably be posted on the main post soon. I know Keith stated he was going to be out of town for a bit.
