I just wiped dalvik and cache, no data wipe... i am running nothingblooms edited nightly 2

Strange, that is the exact same thing I did, and I am on nothingblooms nightly 2...

I know it's been asked before but in lieu of all the recent updates, has anyone tried a wifi tether with their phone? Working, not working with nightly 2?

im on sprint and using sbrissens new kernel wit nightly 2 and have had no los at all,battery is even good,finally

Bad LoS all night long on Sbrissens newest kernel. Went back to the old one, and bam no more LoS.

Did he explain what specifically was causing it? I suppose I could go look for myself.

This is what sbrissen said before he released his latest build. If you followed that thread from "that other forum" then you saw that people were posting many logs for him to debug everyday for awhile.

As for LOS, from everything I can see in the logs it is a power issue and power management is in the kernel. Modem can have an impact but we can control the kernel so that is what we are going to do.

Got a stupid question where are the 4g settings? Other than that everything is good is fh13 better than fg31?

They havent quite been merged over. You can try and use the 4g toggle from the market or see if the one works in the dropdown menu.

I have tethered on every jb build I've tried. Like all of them. The wifi-tether app doesn't worK. Use the built in android option in Settings. I haven't gotten wpA to Work. Leave it open.

I'm not able to turn on 4G on Nightly 2. The toggle is there and I turn it on but it never connects (in spots where it normally does). I also can't find 4G in settings either? Ideas?

You try and 4g switches from the market. I think some of the other testers were able to get them to work as a temporary fix. Unfortunately I do not have 4g in my immediate area to fully test.

Hasnt been merged yet by the cm team. Thats why these are called "Nightlies".

touch and hold the 4g toggle on taskbar. . . i had the same question but i figured it out :-D
