Hey Mike, I think he flashed the gingerbread for jt's Froyo build and not the one for DL30.. There are two ginger themes out there but only one works with DL30.
Thank you. I believer you are correct sir. I tried both of jt's gingerbread themes with superclean 1.0 and the leaked DL30 and same result - after reboot, stuck on samsung logo and phone repeats a cycle of 1 long vibrate followed by 3 short vibrates. Went back to superclean1.0 with superdark theme. Just waiting for blackmod enhanced theme for froyo to come out. Really like it on DL-09

Son of a nutbuster. Now I have the gunnermike bug and I'm now addicted to flashing every rom and theme to see what I like best and......JUST FOR FUN!

Holy dear jesus, I think I finally have a stable SC 1.0 with full syncing, including my poor, poor gCal file that has been mangled half to death throughout all of this!!

Thanks to everyone for the advice. It appears my problems were a result of some 'perfect storm' of google's calendar sync conduit taking a big fat dump on my core process every time I tried to sync, with some CWM and Dalvik wonkiness thrown in for good measure. I literally had to wipe my entire calendar, import it into a different gmail account, pull them up side by side and add every single event back to my calendar from scratch once I had the sync working on a blank calendar file.

Strangest part was, I am now able to add that secondary google calendar to my phone and the EXACT. SAME. FILE. will sync and work on the first try - no sweat. I try it on my primary - it locks everything all to hell and back. I import the same .ics file into my other gCal and it worked like butter. WTF?!

So it took the better part of an entire day just to get my calendar rebuilt by hand from scratch. Good times, there... ;)

But the end result is a fully operation, lightning fast DL30 SuperClean build set up to perfection. :D

No more sleep bug, no more acore fc's or gapps nightmares. Just fresh, tasty FroYo goodness now.

I'm gonna go nandroid it before I do something stupid like try flashing a theme or something. :p

so i probably should not tell you that you could have used google calendar sync and pulled your calendar to outlook. do whatever you wnated and then push the calendar back from outlook to google calendar. would have taken all of 30 secs. i wont mention it. ;)

That was the problem buddy... When I removed all data, the blank calendar would sync in 30 seconds flat. I would export my ical file (hell it originally came from an outlook PST file many moons ago), clearing the sync conduit, then re-syncing. Bang - no problems, I could add/delete/edit on either the web or the phone at it would instantly update on both- as is should! As soon as I re-imported the ical file - it would blow up my whole gapps. Remove it, no problems. Add it back... you get the picture.

That's why I said it was so strange, that I was able to take the exact same exported .ical file, import it to my secondary gmail and it would sync no problems. But no way, no how was it going to sync with my main account.

I had a bad feeling from the start I was going to end up manually rebuilding my calendar file. It wasn't until I added my 2nd gmail account calendar to my primary calendar screen with cal sharing (so I could see both calendars and events together on the same page) and went event by event, clicking "add event to XXX calendar" after I had sync going on a clean base, that things started working properly. Same events, from the same file, this time copied out entry by entry and pasted into my main calendar. This worked when NOTHING else would... In all reality, I didn't recreate it by hand (all the appointment data carried over, minus the recurrence schedule) I just had to copy each entry from one cal to the other and then set the recurrence.

No real explanation, just one of those weird cloud/xml/data things I suppose. If there was an actual problem with the file, it shouldn't have worked on my other gmail. If there was nothing wrong with the file, then clearing and re-importing on my primary account should have worked. It just simply.... didn't... for whatever reasons. Frustrating, for sure.

But fixed now!

that is strange. i was thinking use google calendar sync program for your pc, sync your google calendar that way. turn off calendar synd on your pc, delete your google calendar in gmail. turn on your calendar sync on your pc to sync pc to gmail only. once your gmail calendar is repopulated that should fix the probelm. and you wouldnt have had to move all the files your self.

on another note, what calendar app are you using?

Heh, I deleted LookOut from my pc's about 4-5 years ago. Actually, I deleted the entire MS Office suite with it, and went to OpenOffice. Never looking back. I didn't feel like spending the time creating yet another sync connection when that is what really ended up being the root of the problem!

I'm using the stock TW Cal that Adryn added back to SC 1.0. I messed with Jorte for a bit, but honestly, just HAVING a working stock calendar is like a little slice of heaven right now. Reminders! Vibration! Ahhh the good things in life....

Anything in particular you recommend for a cal app that would blow me away? Hopefully someone will release an AOSP version that works as well as the email apk he added instead of the Sammy stock. Probably already has, I just haven't looked for it since having a calendar is a novelty to me on this phone.
