The patches ARE the differences in 2.6 and 2.7, so if you run the patches (in red cw - I believe), then you essentially have 2.7. The non-voodoo rom is down right now, and will probably not exist because of the patch. Adryn will probably go right to 2.8.

So can I still get the voodoo version somewhere

That's correct. Any SC ROM is installed from CWM. Once it has installed, a message should appear in CWM saying "Installation from ZIP completed".

Yeah the patch is if you're running 2.6. From my understanding, it brings you the changes of 2.7 without flashing the entire ROM. 2.7 Non voodoo has had some issues.

Essentially yes (you'll have everything that is 2.7). You just won't have a complete 2.7 rom if you ever wipe your data. It's basically like this:

You've got 2 quarters or you've got a half dollar. Both are the same in every way possible, but you've got them in different forms.

To install the Superfrankenclean 2.7 version do I use the Odin or just copy the zip file to my phone and run that?

I'm currently with the 2.7 patch that was posted earlier.

I just rooted my phone today for the first time with SuperClean 2.6.

Just one question, The 5 Icons in the notification area are now symbols.

Can someone eliten me as to what each icon is?

Wireless & Bluetooth are obvous, just not sure what the others are doing?

I finally flashed the 2.7 patch and a theme and now we have 2.7.1 edify rom!! Downloading now. On a side note will 2.7 run on cwm 2.5x or should we be updating to 3.0? Is 3.0 any better than what we have now?

No 2.6 that has been patched is not really 2.7. The patch is just the apps from 2.7 that were missing from 2.6.
2.7.1_all is a complete rom minus the kernel

You can also tell by the size of the file.

So what does this mean as far as flashing (the kernel part)? Do we need to download and flash the kernels at the same time or what?

I ran the super frankenclean 2.7.1 all zip and after rebooting my phone just hangs at the Samsung screen. Should I be patient because it's doing something or is there a problem?

Depends if you want to change it or not. you can keep the one that came with 2.6 or flash the EB16 kernel. That really your only options

I'd definitely say be patient - sometimes the first reboot after a rom can take a good while.

But if I'm starting from scratch (dl01 odin), does the superclean 2.7.1 have a kernel in it or wouldn't I be running the dl01 kernel?

Did you wipe the caches? If so, yes your first boot will take awhile but probably not over 15mins
