I highly recommend you guys dont install the nv rom. I did upload a patch to the first post to update you to 2.7.

We all appreciate everything you've done and it would seem most of these people love installing your updates daily so you can't go wrong. i apologize, i dont understand, you dont want us to use 2.7nv but you gave us a patch to do it...do we flash it with red, or orange? then we flash the rom with orange?

The patch is only 1.75 MB, so it is probably just a patch to go with 2.6 to give us those things listed above the patch. I'm guessing Adrynalyne is directing the comment about not using the ROM to everyone who downloaded the whole 131 MB file. And my final guess would be that the patch will work on both voodoo and non voodoo. Not sure about which cwm we would need to flash it.

i'm on stock/deodexed/debloated EB01 with the voodoo kernel and i want to flash 2.7; can i just flash 2.6 and then the 2.7 patch or do i need to do the kernel too?

So because this is on edify, most of the themes listed in the roms/kernels/themes thread won't work, correct? Or they'd still work, but you have to flash with red cw?

I don't understand either, the patch for 2.6 just contains the browser and mms apks....

Both SC 2.7 nv and v packages appear to be a bit light at 5.7MB and 7.1MB...can this be correct. I think the last SC 2.6 ROM weighed in at 148.1MB.

Sounds to me like you can just flash 2.6 then flash the 2.7 patch over it.

And what about the whole edify thing, I don't think the patch will change 2.6 to edify if just contains 2 apks. I'm lost now lol I don't even know what the hell edify is anyway

Only one way to find out - Gunnermike style - Flash away and see what happens.

I put a debinged browser into the 2.6 zip (among other things) before I flashed it and haven't had issues with mms on 2.6, so I guess there's nothing that I'm missing out on besides edify...or unless 2.7 fixed the Gps/sleep issues

that's what i thought, just don't wanna flash it and brick my phone or put into loops/force closes because i'm too lazy to walk to the school computer lab that has windows compys

That's exactly where I'm at. And I know my theme works too. It's just so hard to realize that I'm a version behind - why is that? I've got everything I want, and I just want more.
