I doubt that would happen 2.6 installs without issues and the 2.7 patch is 2 app apks. So I don't think you could brick your phone

That's exactly where I'm at. And I know my theme works too. It's just so hard to realize that I'm a version behind - why is that? I've got everything I want, and I just want more.

You want more? You will get more once the source code is released. You're head is going to be spinning trying to keep up with standard volted kernels, undervolted kernels, and all the other custom kernels and ROMs that will be flying around.

I'm guessing there might be some settings in the messages app that weren't there before. That's the only thing that I can think of

So themes are already being updated to edify and cwm 3.0....should I be updating to that cwm while I wait for the next SC? I'm thinking no because I'm still on 2.6 and I don't know if 3.0 even works on 2.6.....just got excited to flash 2.7 but it got pulled and now I'm looking for something else to flash lol

No, for that you would have to download and install the EB16 kernel from the first post in this thread, and I don't think any of the devs are absolutely sure if it works yet. Flash at your own risk.

Due to the fact that the patch is the only thing up right now as far as 2.7, I'd say you wouldn't need the 2.7 rom first. I'm pretty sure it's just the 2.7 add-ons. Hope that helps.

Installed the patch...went fine...thanks to adrynalyne for all the great updates...keep up the good work...it does not go unappreciated...im one of those people who flashes a rom has it for a day or 2 then something else is up and i just gotta have it even though i always tell myself im gonna keep the one i have for at least a week...but i just cant help myself!

you shouldnt have to, the update is just 2 apps, since there's no change to the rom itself there's no reason to change the kernel unless you just want to
