Loving this rom...it's AWESOME. Having a slight problem though...when I try to add my Facebook account, by going into Settings>Accounts and Sync>Add Account> Facebook, the screen just returns to the accounts screen. No asking for info, not retrieving settings, it just exits. Anyone else having this issue?

Yeah, you need to goto the actual fb app and then it will sync. Or at least that's what I did.

I finally rooted tonight and installed this ROM. I don't have experience with others but love the themes option in this one and seems to run really smooth. One question though. Can I find and install the original apk from gtalk without screwing this up? I have a harder time reading the inverted app for some reason and would like the white background back. Thanks

do you have titanium backup or root explorer? Gtalk comes built in to the ROM, so you just need to delete it then install the original one from the market.

The free version of titanium backup can uninstall system apps.

I do have titanium backup. I thought that but wasnt sure if it would screw anything in the rom up. The original gtalk app isnt in the market though

Here's a question for you guys. I want to know why on the liberty rom I don't get my facebook notifications pushed like it says?

On stock I would get the fb notification before the email one. Now all I get is the email notification nothing else.

Any ideas/advice?

i dont believe this is related to the ROM, but rather your using a device that is rooted. i dont know if this is true, but just read about this other day. did your FB notifications work on a rooted device prior to installing a ROM?

I haven't read anything about it, but I assumed it was more a failure of the app or google or facebook services. I assumed this because during the first few days the update for push notifications was released, the push notifications worked, albeit intermittently... after those first couple days though they did not work. When I was getting push notifications my DX was rooted and I was running on the OTA 2.2.1 update.

i do. he keeps referring to his birthday on wednesday and a countdown app till his birthday. he also said i believe last sunday, that 1.5 will be out in a few days.
