{ROM} "Training Day Badassness ROM" CM7 take-over 5/18/2011

Zefie stopped supporting his CM project, and wanted someone to maintain it. I didn't see anyone doing anything with this great ROM, so I decided to take the job.


This ROM has the same safety pro-cations as every-other hack! You can perma-brick your phone if you dont know what your doing! READ the rules of ROMS first!!! YOU WERE WARNED

Prior in install:
wipe catche
wipe davlick
and factory reset

To install:
1) Flash Debug-FormatSYSTEM.zip
2) Then flash the ROM
3) Then flash Google Apps
4) reboot

I made a few edits to the ROM that make it save more space, no camera shutter sound, and buildprop edits.
It feels faster.

do u have a changelog for any adaption/fixes/breaks in this version? I'm gonna download and flash now and notify if I find something not working. As is I'm running rooted v9 with xionia recovery and the 4/19 scott Pilgrim.

Not yet, but I am working on it. I have the 2nd post reserved for just that.

No worries,

You just click the link, then you click the blue download button in the middle of the page. It would then say that its too big to scan so you click download anyways. thats it!

Ok so overy time I click on the link to download the Rom it takes me to the Google log in screen. Help pls

Does it give you the option to save or open? if so press save.

if not. what is the last thing you pressed? was it the "download anyways"

first it wasn't showing the download link, now it only downloads a 3.9mb file no matter what I try to do to download. ill get it tho. anyway thanks for taking the time to work with this rom

I haven't flashed this yet but just wanted to say thanks for taking this on from Zefie ... I appreciate it I hate to see a ROM with so much potential die ..... THANKS AGAIN AND G'LUCK!

You aren't doing anything wrong. The file is posted to a google docs site, you need to be logged into your google account to access it.

Same. I even toggled signature verification off and tried to install. 5-6 lines of script popped up as if it were installing... then it jumped back to the main recovery screen. never showed complete installation or anything i've seen before. Going to nand restore for now.

Thanks for taking this on, but appears might need a bit of work before release?

Ill give it a whirl, but would like to see the changes and what is the same in this release... or if its just the most recent release and there were no significant changes. Thanks for your work and hope to use it in the future. Cant wait to steal some ginger souls on this ROM

The more system edits you make the less cm7 this is. Zefie worked on bug fixes not build.prop edits. And please, if you are going to support this at least sign your zips.

1) If your going to steal someones work, dont post it here.

2) You didn't even resync?!?!? You used zefies 4/11 build and tried passing it off as a resync.

3) making build.prop edits and deleting a couple of ogg's don't constitute a ROM. Hell most the people here could have made a 1mb flashable zip with a script that does exactly what you did with a 70mb file that's not even signed.

4) I'm all for someone picking up this project, i really hope someone does start syncing again for the Optimus S.
