Silly Question but does this ROM support 4G I am new to Android, I got TrulyEpic loaded, it runs fast and has increased my battery life A LOT.... Love it I just seem not to be able to to connect to Sprints 4G Network.

Works fine on 4g. I've used it many times.

I've had it installed on the phone now for 5 days and I'm noticing the battery running out quicker. I've got cpu tuner installed and I keep background data off most of the time. Any suggestions?

Could be what you have installed since flashing TER. More apps running and more things being polled such as email will drain things quicker. I notice an intial battery decrease after a day or two (a battery cycle ot two) then things seem to settle into place.

Lag rotation? I think I know what you are talking about and how to fix it. Are flying games like winds of steel affected at all? if so then I tink I am understanding what is going on. Every time I fash a froyo rom I have a slight lag in rotation and in flying games the plane don't fly right. To fix this i have to calibrate sensors not by using the option in settings but by downloadin android terminal emulator by jack something. then follow this

Type: su then hit enterand allow the app root
Then type: /system/bin/sensorcalibutil_yamaha and hit enter then just folow directions. Exit app turn off screen, turn it back on and then it should fix the lag

That "rotation lag" was bugging me.

Great ROM, thanks for the work and sharing. My only problem is that contact images dont appear in gmail and SMS, but are fine in the contacts tab. Any suggestions?

I know that some other people have reported problems with wifi, and now I'm starting to see problems with it too. Sometimes wifi just won't connect and requires a phone restart to fix the issue.

I scanned this thread (but I probably missed something in the 95 pages of posts), and didn't see a solution. Is this a problem that's being worked on, or is it too rare to spend time on right now?

WiFi problems were/are happening even on Eclair from what I've read. People have Odin back to Eclair thinking it was this ROM or other ROM related only to find out it still was happening even in factory stock form.

Its kind of like the GPS, no real "signature" to the problem. It might effect some people and never give others a problem. I have been lucky to not have any GPS issues or WiFi.

so, after i rel-flashed TER, I'm having trouble playing music. i could play one song, but it wont switch, and freezes which ever music player i'm using at the moment. i wiped everything, re installed TER, but still, same problem? any ideas as why this is happening?

If i have background data off and I routinely check task manager and kill apps running the apps shouldn't drain the battery that much right?? and the email shouldn't check itself if background data is off right?

@LS2982, I don't think so. I average somewhere in the 10 hr range on this ROM for normal to above normal use.

Its simple really.

Froyo=nicer features, faster but you lose some battery live over Eclair.
Eclair=great battery life, a bit slower and a few less features.

If you really want to explore, you could look into Odin back to stock and root, and check out Baked Snack or some of the nice ROMs on Eclair. They have custom kernels available where people have reported getting some impressive battery times.

Lots of options out there, you just have to explore.

I don't know if this helps anyone, but I can turn wifi on if I do it from the settings menu. I just can't do it from the notification bar.

Haven't found any likely fix anywhere.

I'm having the same problem here. At first I thought it was related to JuiceDefender. I uninstalled that a long time ago, and I continue to have the WIFI problem. It's annoying enough to make me want to uninstall the TER ROM, and try one of the old eclair roms like Baked Snack. I upgraded from stock eclair to TER, and that's when I started having the problems. I do appreciate all the hard work you've done for the TER ROM Rag. Hopefully I can figure out a fix for my Wifi problem. The fact that others don't have this issue gives me hope.

I flashed the ROM and after I booted I had the flashing no service text so I then installed the modem. When I go into the market and click install, it prepares to download but as soon as it looks like it's going to start, it disappears.

I have cleared the cache in the market and started fresh.

Any other ideas? Should re-flash again?

I'm having problems laoding youtube videos on my phone with TER as my rom. My connection had 5 bars as I was using verizons towers and video are only loading like 10 secs wrth and stopping. Any ideas?

Just in case anyone sees this problem, reflashing the ROM cures this problem. I think somehow when booting up the first time without the modem drivers installed can cause a issues.

How do you install the add ons?

If they are a .zip file then flash them in CWM just like you do a ROM.

If they have a .apk extension then you need to use Astro or equivalent to install them directly from your SD card, NOT IN CWM.
