Just reflash the new Rom-Only 1.5 TER and you'll be good, im about to do it right now, just waiting for it to download, because i've been havign alot of FC's too specially with the Wireless Tether as you are having it too.

Thanks, but I'd rather see if there is a way to fix this without having to start fresh.
Fixed it: I just installed the latest experimental version of WiFi Tether (pre3 instead of pre1, which is included in TER1.5) from here:
wifi_tether_v3_0-pre3.apk - android-wifi-tether - WiFi Tether for Root Users 3.0-pre3 *** EXPERIMENTAL *** - Project Hosting on Google Code
I looked for that myself lol, but if there is a way, atleast i have the backup
and can always go to it! make sure you backup everytime you make a change on the rom internaly, ect.. Great job and thanks to everyone that's worked on TER. Just did a clean install of 1.5 and my Epic's feeling much faster and zippier than before. You guys are awesome!

*Went through all my apps and the only force close I had were the email and gmail apps, which was easily fixed with the clear data method....not a big deal considering I use K-9.

Ragnarokx, I just flashed the stock DK28 browser- (by the way- that will cause it to be named Internet again- no biggie) and I don't see how it's different. Do all versions no longer have a bookmark list in the menu of the app? I thought this behavior was only the Gtab Browser... Kinda miss the Eclair browser I guess then- I like my text bigger when zooming (instead of another double tap) and I like having bookmarks list in the app... Any thoughts/solutions that would still work with flash or is this it?
Also, Paul I see new Cyanogen wallpapers with 1.7- but I don't see the new phoenix (or the 1.5 ones either) do I need to flash the 1.7 wallpaper seperately? Or can these be found elsewhere? I liked the 1.5 and was hoping 1.7 just added more. I like the CM ones- but hey- I'd like them all!

3 new TER 1.5 wallpapers in AMLauncher (phoenix wallpapers)
All the Cyanogen wallpapers are located on your /sdcard/wallpapers when you install TER 1.5
The reason for the force close on the email app, is because the gtab email was swapped out for the traditional 2.2 stock email. You could have just manually flashed the gtab email back and wouldn't have had to wipe =)
Glad everything is working for you now though.
Ok so i did the clean install, and I'm loosing my widgets every now and then.. then they reappear, i keep the same layout, so its hard to know if im running multiple widgets of the same thing, (since they overlap). ant reasons? its happend once with the clean install.
BTW, is this suppose to be faster than 1.2? cause I'm getting ridiculous speeds, even with my SD card, reads it in a second!

Glad I could help out for once. The only issue I have left is sometimes WiFi not turning on (either says Error and I can try turning it on again, or it's stuck saying "Turning on..." until I reboot), but I've kind of given up on finding a fix for that.

Oops sorry didnt explain that well, I didn't wipe I went to settings>applications>manage>email/gmail>clear data; this method stopped the FC's

Yes it does run faster you can thank the journaling mod and other spices for that. You won't see any major differences between TER 1.2 and TER 1.5 if your comparing with Quadrant.
I'm very happy with the way it turned out. We had an issue with the Wireless Tether but that seems to be fixed now. Otherwise I think TER 1.5 is turning out to be a solid daily driver just like TER 1.2 was.

I also have this issue, if you want a quicker fix than rebooting you can go to settings>wireless and networks>wifi settings then check the box it will say error if unable to connect, then check wifi again....this usually works the first or second try.

Ugh- I'm an idiot... wallpapers are installed as WALLPAPERS! I'm so used to my wallpapers being in gallery (I use zeam as well which downloads them there) I've completely forgotten about the actual wallpaper install method. LOL!
Sorry. Yep- and they work with other non AM Launchers too. Very pretty.
Guys- this new update ROCKS!
I can't imagine how the official release will improve anything- but regardless- looking forward to the update should there be another. This ROM makes me no longer regret that I own an Epic!
