I just purchased LockBot Pro and have AVG Pro Security = I have my name on AVG , but I can't figure out just how to get it to appear on my Lock Screen ---- I've read a few posts on other forums and seen a few YouTube videos but still unable to work the magic on my phone : (

If I owned the app I would be happy to help you troubleshoot but I don't - you should try user support on their website or emailing them. Or perhaps a knowledgable person who owns the app here on the boards can give us some insight 
What to do now, coming from TrulyEpic Rebirth 1.2
Hi all, just looking for a suggestion here. I'm on TrulyEpic Rebirth 1.2 and have been using it happily for a few months. Because of this I was not as active in the androidcentral forums as when I was in the process of finding/applying ROMs.
Now my phone is periodically acting up (I have no idea if it's related to TER 1.2) -- it'll sometimes respond very slowly... Sometimes, after several days of use, I can't turn WIFI on, it'll just say "Error"... Anyway, all these things are fixed with a reboot of the phone... So now I am wondering if I should upgrade the ROM on my phone.
I don't want/need anything beyond what my current ROM provides (TER 1.2) as I am very happy with it when it works, so I am looking for a suggestion as to whether I should upgrade to TER 1.5, or maybe ACE ROM is superseding TER??
Any help would be appreciated as between the TER and ACE threads, I'd have over 200 pages to read to catch up and it gets pretty tedious. Or if there is a particular place that outlines the current state of these ROMs (and future plans), that would be great too.

ACE is very similiar to TER, its still its own ROM with its own identity but I based ACE on the same principles that worked for TER. Remove most bloat, be very stable, and not to flashy still leaving plenty of room for the user to customize how they please.
Can you comment on the odds that I might encounter issues that I had to fix after installing TER 1.2? (GPS, screen rotation)... Both of things I fixed with the help of Ragnarokx's guides, and just wondering if you think I might have to re-fix them after installing ACE.
Try formatting your SD card (backup data to your computer first of course).
As for WiFI, I occasionally have the same problem (currently on Syndicate ROM). I'm not aware of a fix, and WiFi problems like this don't necessarily seem to be ROM related.
I will... should I use a tool like Clockwork to format the SD card, or just plug it into my pc for mass storage and format it that way?
Also, when I converted my FS to ext4, using your tutorial, I assumed that was just the main system memory. Is it also the SD card? I realize now I have not looked at its current format.
people have had problems formatting their SD card with a computer. To format, go to Settings>SD card and phone storage>Format SD card. And no, the SD card is not converted to EXT4. So no extra steps needed after you format it.
Noob Question - regarding TrulyEpicRebirth ROM. I am "rooted" and have ROM Manager / ClockworkMod 3.0.2.4 ... I got OTA Froyo.ec05 on my Samsung Epic 4G ... so , can I now just download this ROM onto my SDcard and install it ? or do I still need to download / install something else first ? and is this still a good ROM for Froyo ?

Screen rotation is a given... You have to do that with any ROM at least any that I've ever ran... GPS is hit or miss...
OK - I did a root with OneClickRootCWM3-EB13 and then flashed TrulyEpic ( the one where you do the 3 wipes ) and it's working good ( THX guys ) but I can't figure out how to get the "stock apps" back on ( and yes I have gone thru ALL the posts under here - still lost ) sorry for being so new to all this

In the second post of this thread is the Stock Apps restore. Ragnarokx also has a link there explaining how to go about installing the Samsung/Google apps that are in the Stock Apps restore zip file. Sprint apps are easy, place them on your sdcard and just click on them using any file explorer and you will be prompted to install them.
OK - I'm still pretty new to all this but I did look up some info on how to use that darn ES File Explorer and I'm in the process of installing those darn Stock Apps ( I thought I was supposed to just drag & drop into the ES Folder while connected to my computer = my bad ) THX again for all the help - I'm slowly getting the hang of it

Everything is done on your phone. Only time your computer is involved is downloading the Restore Aps zip and extracting its contents to a place on your computer. Then you place whatever you want to restore on your phones sdcard. From there you run ES File Explorer on your device and follow Ragnarokx's instructions.
I could not find the Sprint Zone or Sprint ID Apps in that zip = did I miss something ?

Sprint ID is not in that restore zip package. Sprint ID is on Froyo EC05 not the "leaked" Froyo DK28 which this ROM is based on.

THX 4 that link for Sprint Zone ( didn't really need Sprint ID - just remembered seeing the Sprint Zone in there so figured I could access it from there ). This ROM has been working really well = THX again. Curiosity question ( remember I'm still new to rooting / ROMs ) - when I tried to use the Sprint TEP App it just says "unsupported phone" - is that because of ROM ? I know I can Odin back to stock if I ever need to get my phone serviced - just curious - I was able to use that App when I was "just rooted"

Probably due to the ROM. It was designed for Froyo EC05 so how Sprint ID would function on any other setups/ROMs I'm not sure.
ragnorokx or Paul - do you happen to know if the "Giger Theme" which works on ACS will also work on TER and ACE ?
