You can flash picasticks, but that kernel is not really designed for gingerbread. I have run it on this rom, but IMO it was a little slower and I also experienced reboots at lower clock speeds than the built on kernel.

Sometimes when moving an application from the phone to SD it says "Failed to move application" however pressing the move to SD button a second time moves the application without any problems. Anyone else getting this?

I had this issue too, but it was on a different rom. So its not this rom specifically. I think its just a timing issue. If you wait another 30 seconds before clicking the button do you still get the error.
I have been using a2sd for a while now so I don't have to use the process you are following.

Might be too late to say this...but when using a computer to "install" an app OTA from market.android.com, it never sends it to the phone.
