This build seems to be working quicker for me. Even with 192mb of apps (data2sd of course).

*update, syncing worked after a reflash
but still i can't make calls unless i use speakerphone. audio will not come through otherwise.
really, strange. i can't get it to work. i have syncing enabled but no contacts or calender events are coming through. i'll try it again after a reflash, thanks!

I keep getting fatal errors when trying to fetch the source from github. It keeps returning error randomly throughout the sync about unable to look up android.git.kernel.org and unable to look up github.com and "Network is unreachable".
I want to try the ROM out by building from source myself for the VM670 to get experience with AOSP and CM. I've never had issues with connections before. I think this is a great project and its great that you're keeping this as close to CM source as possible.
EDIT: sync is ok now. Now on to warnings, errors, and possible missing files.
EDIT 2: Added full /system dump to vendor directory and after -ignoring warnings the compile was a success! Now turn it into a zip and see if it even boots.

that didn't work but thanks for trying. I got it working by extracting the launcher2.apk from aosp rom.

i recommend go launcher ex. i have 10 screens(can go up to 18 at least) full of icons and widgets and no slowdown at all with this rom. plus its got plenty of dock options and skins that work well with the cm7 skins.
did i mention that it's free from the market?
