On 2.2 froyo on all phones there is an issue where the status bar signal icon basically over exaggerates the signal strength. For example it may show that you have four bars when you really have two.

Also I resigned and zipaligned the .apk's in my build and some how the camera works now.
I recompiled the build using different vendor proprietary files and omitting the cnd from the thunderc_device.mk
Next test in about two hours. Maybe something will change. If that doesn't work I'll have to try changing something with the build environment. Maybe I'm getting bad builds because I'm using wrong gcc version or something.

. Also the speakerphone volume is /way too loud/ even at the lowest setting.

after 3 months of having the speaker phone vol very low on zefies build the volume did scare the crap out of me today when I used it....how ever,...I wouldn't "fix" it to much. It was nice to be able to clearly hear the speaker phone

I'm loving the rom!!! Thanks again I'm am also liking the loudness of of the speaker! I just used dsp manager to make to my liking! Good job guys

I've been searching for the last 15 minutes or so but I just can't find it. How exactly do you make data2sd work on this phone.

Is this rom at the point where it isn't any more broken than that one now? I want to switch to this rom but I don't want to lose any functionality in the switch.

This rom is more complete.
In titanium backup click on backup/restore and then hit your settings button. There is a batch option. Use this. You wont have to do them one by one anymore

On to the interesting stuff:
Data2ext CyanogenMOD - UPDATE 26/01/11 - xda-developers
Remember when flashing a rom update or another rom, you will need to titanium backup the apps+data, erase the sdext partition (format), flashing new rom (and gapps), reboot, start steps for data2sd before restoring apps, data2ext --enable, reboot, use titanium to restore..

didnt work for me i wipe everything except sd and it said installtion aborted WTF

i didnt wipe anything when i went from .2 to 1.0 of this rom and have had no issues

Did u do SD ext2 first and if u do u have format the sdcard to that

Assuming you are referring to the rom, what recovery are you using?

Edit: Second thought you could be talking about the zip for the data2ext, in which case. You would have to toggle signature verification to off, those zips aren't signed. Honestly I'm confusing myself now and not sure what people are referring to lol

How does this rom compare with zefies in peoples opinion's? ? Just curious (pros/cons)

it has less bugs and runs faster. battery life is a little better as well. and is a newer version of android.

Cool. You may be using some old system or data files. I like to make sure there's nothing leftover.

i like to not have to confirm app restores 70 times. its running better than any rom yet so im bi-winning!

Make sure you cleared everything. If coming from another rom, you should flash debug-system.zip. and if you're still having trouble, redownload the file and try again...

Not sure when the next update will be. Looks like blarf is working on some things, so I will most likely wait until he closes a few more issues before compiling again. In the meantime I am working on a vanilla build of gingerbread. It will be a long time coming though. I thought about using the Optimus One release, but that may be more work than stripping out CM stuff. Not sure yet. I just wanted to let you all know I was still around. Had no sleep for 3 days due to a pinched siatic nerve and lots of great pain meds.

Are you overclocked? I know that when I was oc'ed above 600 it was very spotty and rebooted, but it ALWAYS rebooted on anything over 806. If it still reboots at 600, try to lower it a bit more and see if it works that way.
