rooted but forgot to wipe phone before flashing cm10.1

i can get to the download mode but it stops there.i need to wipe the phone without booting it.so i can then flash cm 10.1 the right way.please help.i used odin 3 v 3.04 to root.can i wipe using odin.if so how.

Can't you boot directly into your custom recovery and do your wipe? Wipe system, that will clear out your ROM/kernel, etc. Just make sure you have a ROM to flash on your sdcard or internal storage to flash to get out of recovery.

i can get to custom recovery then it stops won't let me get to the recovery menu.tried adb but because i can't boot the phone i can't turn on debugging.

If you can get into download mode, I'd follow the instructions in this forum to to return to stock, unrooted, and then root again.

Also update your Odin when you get a chance to 3.07
