Rooted S3 not showing up on mac or PC and no PTP available

Hey guys, I rooted my Galaxy S3 i747 a while back. I am finally trying to put a new ROM on the phone, but my Mac won't recognize the phone at all. I downloaded AFT, but there is no way for me even put the phone into PTP mode, theres nothing when I pull the notification bar down. I am currently running 4.1.1. I also plugged the phone into the PC that I used to root the phone, and it's not recognizing the GS3 at all either. Does anyone have any idea what's going on or what I can do? Thanks.

Do you have the current version of Kies and the Drivers installed on the PC. You may need to uninstall Kies and the Drivers, reboot the PC and then install the new version.

Tried reinstalling keis and the drivers and rebooted the computer and then connected my GS3. Still not showing up at all. Is there anything else that I can do?

Might be a bad charging cable. Also, sometimes USB ports are flaky. I have one port on my laptop that doesn't like my phone so I had to move to another port

There's problem with new Samsung USB drivers since thy brought MTP thing out.
Option 1: take out your memory card and it'll work for internal memory.
Option 2: download this your phone it'll make your memory card available in PC. http://db.tt/tCdFth58
