rooted, unrooted, bricked, unbricked, stuck in recovery

seems like it's exactly what i need but the bin file is a broken link. i'll see if i can find it somewhere else.

hell yeah it is!!! reboot into recovery and flash update.zip a couple of times!!!!

forget the vcrom thing, you've made huge progress now without it

when i reboot into recovery, it's the same recovery, not the new one. is that ok?

Congrats! I was just thinking when I woke up this morning if you had tried to flash a new recovery from within recovery. Were you able to get Xionia working?

And install either Reborn Rom or Thekraven's CM7 port

I'm running Thekraven's CM7 and love it. I would definitely recommend it.

Or, if you're feeling adventurous (and are ok with a few things like camera, youtube, and gallery not working) you could go with kraven's Cold As Ice CM9 alpha port found here
