I started tinkering tonight and WOW.. I dont know why it took me so long to FINALLY get around to doing this?

I changed my icons, my notification bar icons, now my phone is totally customized to ME.. not how Motorola wants me to have it.

droidpirate is a great site to use. When you dl a file to say change the 3g icon you can pull any 3g icons from roms and just overwrite the ones from droidpirate and install. I pulled all the icons from a rom and did it that way. very easy. They have a ton of things to play with

Yep.. tonight found a whole new meaning to customizations that WP7 and iPhone can't even touch.

its a lot of fun changing out icon to fit your liking. Just when you think you cant do anymore you find something new to do. How about changing out that Verizon Wireless tex in your dropdown???

its more work than the metamorph. You need to use comands and pull your framework and edit it with a hex editor and push it back. If you up for it here is the link. You will need to dl some programs aswell. You can change the tex in the drop down like below. It will also change the tex on the lock screen.
