Rooting or returning to stock requires re-activation?

Hi,

I currently have an Optimus that works but I keep running out of space and I've decided it is time to try rooting my phone to free up some room. Before I do so I wanted to know, will rooting my phone require me to call Sprint to activate it? What about if I go back to stock? Will I need to call in to Sprint to re-activate? I saw it mentioned somewhere that I might have to but it wasn't clear...

No, you can root and unroot your phone without messing with your activation. Done it a few times myself, lol. Enjoy, be sure to read the stickies at the top of this forum real well.
