Hi all. I've just gotten done buying the Droid Bionic (Verizon - 16GB), just waiting for it to arrive. Once it does arrive, I want to be ready to root it and install a ROM. The last device I had was an LG Optimus V which is low end compared to the Bionic, and CM isn't supported officially. However I found out the Bionic is officially supported.

I've never installed an official CM ROM before, so I want to have an experienced person here who has done all this before and can walk me through. I've downloaded cm-10.2.1-targa.zip from the official CM site, which is the latest stable CM ROM for the Bionic. As far as I've read so far, rooting the Bionic is extremely easy, like noob easy. But there aren't instructions for CM...

If this helps, I don't plan on ever activating this phone. Just using it on wi-fi only (I've heard that you have to bypass the "no sim" screen). Also, I'll have a 16GB Sandisk Ultra microSD card (class 10) to put into the phone.

I can't wait to get my Bionic!!
