I left everything on except AOD is on schedule turns off 10pm and goes back on 8am 3 gmail account sync all the time and 1 hotmail, auto brightness on and battery save mode medium at 20% nothing else plus Facebook,Instagram,WhatsApp sync all the time

I could see Samsung jumping to 12gb RAM due to S10 being the special anniversary version or like you said, it could be for Asia only. Again, that's if the specs are true.

You tell 'em Jewels! That is a pretty BOLD statement to make... an initial video write up can't be used to make that kind of determination and I wouldn't even give up the Note 9 if what I saw was correct! $1600, no s-pen, no battery info, no camera info, ???
Junk my *** lol. You kill me sometimesno way in hell my note9 will be considered junk. 8gb is enough for me. And besides if the s10 did get the 12gb of ram then note10 might also. If that is true.

Unless Samsung sends out an update to disable half of my cores and memory, my Note9 will function the same as it does right now...great.
You can't keep chasing the specs after some point.
Their focus should be on design and software. The rest will follow suit.

If rumours of that 4th S10 model are true then I have a sneaky suspicion that it will include the Spen and maybe even the graphene battery tech, a 6.7 inch 4k screen would need power and a screen that size just screams NOTE...

24 megapixel in such a small sensor would be a mistake. If they increase the sensor size that would make a difference, however of you increase the sensor by more than a small amount you have to increase the distance between the lens and the sensor.

12GB of RAM in a phone makes no sense unless the IS itself was rewritten to be terribly RAM-inefficient. There's no way you're going to run even a huge app long enough to gather up enough in-RAM data to need 12GB - or even 8GB. Even running 3 large apps at once, with all of them holding a large amount of data may get close to 8GB, but I doubt if more than a handful of people use their phones like that. It's more a sales tool than anything else.
And, as Mike said, a 25mp sensor is also a sales tool. They're making thinner phones, and you don't do that with telephoto lenses and large image sensors.
But we'll probably see 16GB RAM phone - and even 24GB RAM phones - in the future. It's like using a semi to go grocery shopping.

12gb ram does sound mad for a phone so if it is true they must have something else up their sleeve, maybe a huge upgrade on the dex side to truly turn a phone into a genuine desktop or laptop replacement
