Rumor: Verizon Halts 2.1 again!

This is either a very bad April Fools joke, or yet another delay in the 2.1 update for Droid. If this is a joke, it's not funny due to how many times the Droid community has been burned. Here is the link from 1 of Chris Pirillo's Blog Writers, and you can decide for yourself.

Moto's made no reference, and without being more specific on the bugs that were found, it makes me skeptical

plus, I just checked VZW's twitter, and there's no mention

Don't believe it. Absolutely no direct line to this "tweet", no one that I know is reporting WiFi issues, and it IS April Fools Day.

I would also hope, HOPE, that if Verizon pulled an update midway through it being pushed out, they would notify the people that have already received the update via twitter, their website or some other way that there is a known flaw in the update that they received.

I'd say it's an april fools joke too. The google download link for the ROM is still working. If they were halting the update they'd pull the link.

They only pushed it out to 10,000 phones so far. It wouldnt be that much of a grasp to have VZW stop it now.
