You are unfortunately wrong. The Inc S s-off will not work on the Dinc2. They are different phones in this regard.

This Jul 4 post seems to insinuate the current beta will work for Dinc2 using IncS? Sorry if my earlier post was wrong. I would like to see more confirmation before trying it myself however. I am a noob to Android!

I just looked at that article and although I'm admittedly no math whiz, it doesn't add up to me. He said he didn't have an inc2 to try it on. But since it works on the Inc s and the desire (which are both listed as a compatible device) then it must work on the Inc2 (which is not listed, yet).?

I saw someone ask earlier about Netflix working. That's my main concern. Got my wife a Dinc2 and I want to get rid of the bloatware for her but I need to know if Netflix will still work if it's rooted or if the phone would have to be unrooted first before it would work. Is it just to early to know?

And I guess the windows version has been pulled now? I gave it a try before it was pulled and it failed at fastboot for me.

So now that the root is public, anyone know how long unrevoked will take to drop in? I've never rooted before and really don't feel comfortable manually manipulating my file systems. I would prefer the unrevoked 1-click root so I don't worry about bricking my phone. Really wish the imminent GB update just unlocked the phone but I'm doubting it will sadly... Any idea how long unrevoked typically takes guys?

Yeah, the windows version doesn't work. Have to use the linux version.
