S20 FE, who's thinking about it?

No complaints with my screen color...hopefully just need to get adjusted to it ...

This screen is a little cooler than my Pixel which looks warmer. Noticed this when doing smart switch. Can't notice it without a side by side comparison.

Looks the same on my wife's phone. Very cold white balance. Not really my preference but I'll get used to it. Reminds me of the lcd on my nexus 4 or honor 8. Looks very different from my s8+.

Also, smaller than I had hoped. I though the 0.3inch increase would be a bigger difference from my s8+. Can hardly tell its larger.

Found a wet apply tpu screen protector on Amazon and ordered a couple... Hopefully better than the dmax armor.

Yeah that does the trick but it's definitely overkill. Left the screen on vivid and color temp all the way warm. I've tried the advanced settings.... Red up, green and blue off... but don't see much difference? Having temp up helped a bit I think. Reds looked pink and whites were very cool to begin with but I think it's better.

Looking at my s8 now makes the whites look red. Eyes just need time to adjust. Hopefully I can finish setting the phone up tonight. Not sure I will have time :(

Out of curiosity, have any of you who are finding the screen too blue or disappointing taken off the screen protector that came with the phone?
Reason I ask is that I at first had issues with the look of the screen too but yesterday I purchased a glass protector and yes it did make a difference. The screen is much more vibrant now. So I wonder if that plastic protector that came on the phone was made of a material that just made the screen look bad.

The screen defiantly looks better with the screen protector off. It was washed out before I removed it. Running the screen naked like I always do.

I received mine yesterday and have to send it back. I get headaches from the screen because of PWM. Good phone otherwise.

I went ahead and got it for AT&T. I never knew how much I needed a high screen refresh rate until now

Finally got all set up. Will see how I get used to it. If I'm staring at it long enough it seems fine. Not terribly crisp or beautiful. But when I think about it, boy does everything have a blue or green tinge over it.. Grey's really look turquoise. Can't really decide if my wife's phone looks better, need to compare more today. Maybe I just got a bad one... Maybe not. Seems to be normal for oleds these days to be green. Maybe the manufactures have changed preference and I just haven't caught up to the times.

Wow, got my mint SE and I am loving it. Flat screen (still no screen protectors available yet) and a Samsung fingerprint sensor that FINALLY works great!

Here is a comparison off an hdr YouTube video test. Red generally renders as orange, gold or pink.

Whites and grey (ie dark mode menus/toolbars) appears green/turquoise. Also, detail seems to be much lower than the S8. Out of focus at times, almost. Text is crisp- but images seem to suffer.

I have two phones showing the same symptoms - so it's a feature here, not a defect.

Definitely disappointed in the screen compared to a phone that's almost 4 years old.

Any hope that Samsung can send out a calibration patch? Seems unlikely.

I'm not having that issue. In your picture I can see the difference so who knows what is going on with that.
