S20 Firmware For Odin Flash?

No need for adb commands

And yes I dont believe Att rolled the update out , so that's the latest security patch other carrier put out , if att comes with different patch number you'll need to flash to that to continue getting automatic software updates when you manual check in settings.

OK, great! Thanks!

If I flash the G988UOYN1ATCH version which looks like hasn't been released by AT&T yet, will I still have use of carrier specific features like wifi calling and VoLTE (which I do want)? Or should I just install the latest version that AT&T has released (G988USQU1ATBN) in order to retain usage of AT&T specific features?

Yes user date in CSC of Odin will keep from factory rest, which will happen if you use regular CSC in odin

Yep, so, I know I need to use the HOME_CSC file instead of the CSC file in order to retain my data. However, under the CSC button and field, there is a button called USERDATA and a field for the file path of the USSERDATA_USC file.

From what I can understand from some internet research, is that this is the file that enables/contains carrier bloatware and carrier specific features. So, I was wondering if the latest version of the firmware that I found on SamMobile hasn't been released by AT&T yet, will I retain the carrier specific features if I install this latest version and specify the USERDATA_USC fiel? Or should I just install the latest version that has been released by AT&T in order to be able to use AT&T specific features like wifi calling and VoLTE?

And No dont use that slot in Odin for usedr data only first 4 with CSC use the firmware file CSC home there

I did the firmware upgrade to G988USQU1ATBN and it all went very smoothly and quickly and no data loss! Once I got everything downloaded and installed it took about 5 minutes to do the actual upgrade.

A BIG THANK YOU to Mustang and Ruben for all of your help!

Nice ! Very welcome

But I'm not getting 5g on s20 ultra thats why
Carrier firmware are all universal, the sim you put decides what gets loaded, once you put your tmobile sim did it turn off to reconfigure the phone ? Tmobile start up screen?

I'm using the device right now maybe its not fully unlock also I'm not getting 5g service
Yeah that's what I'm thinking but anyhow you can flash tmobile firmware but might be in same boat like I mentioned all carriers firmware are universal just sim dictates what gets installed.

It doesn't do that anymore. Remember I asked about it last week? I have a Verizon sim in my T-Mobile variant but forced to get my updates from T-Mobile.

That's the same thing I'm experiencing with my T-Mobile variant with a Verizon sim.My service has real spotty(talking about the data). I don't want the Verizon firmware since it's so restricted just want the unlocked firmware.

I think its something with Verizon. But you were asking to flash unlocked version from a carrier version.

My tmobile version note 9 was sim unlocked , when I insert my Att sim it reboot to configure and when it started up I had att splash screen with att apps . And if I would insert my tmobile sim again it load tmobile splash screen and its apls.

Correct. Every verizon model I've purchased since the S8 has done it, but it has seem to have changed. I wouldn't complain if I could get 5G to show and my normal data although that may be a system constraint issue atm.
