Anybody using these currently and looking to use them with the s20 ultra?

I see they're coming out with a case in April. I will have my XJ built and be ready for my adventures with my wife at that time. I'm looking to record the things we do and the places we travel. Wondering if this would make the ultra even better? What do you guess think? Are they good? Waste of money?

Thanks guys.

I'm waiting for a confirmation that they will work with the current lenses. Moment was supposed to test them out this weekend. They weren't sure the lenses are compatible with the larger sensors. Having the case means nothing if the lenses won't work. That would me designing new lenses. I'll reach out to my contact and see how they made out.

How do you like the app for Android? It appears to be poorly rated?

Its improved since it was initially rated poorly. It is really required for their anamorphic lens because its does some processing to get the cinematic effect. For the other lenses you might not need it but it does certain thing better

Bumping an older thread for anyone who might be asking the same question. I used moment lenses and filters on my s9+ (which worked beautifully) so I got a moment case for my s20 Ultra and out of the wide angle, the superfish and tele lens, only the tele lens will work. The wide angle has pretty bad vignetting in all 4 corners and the superfish is just terrible! Vignetting and the corners are severely distorted and blurry. I tried their filter mount thats screws onto their filters and more vignetting. The sensor is too big. It makes sense to me now that they did not showcase their lenses on their s20 ultra review video.

Which lens on the device are you mounting it on?

Makes sense, it's my understanding the second generation of their lenses was developed because phone sensors went from around 1/3" to 1/2.3". I expected their lenses wouldn't work with the S20 Ultra and thanks for the confirmation.

They already abandoned their android app because Samsung and others won't give them access to any of the cameras besides the main shooter. Sadly you need an iPhone to get the most out of Moments accessories.

They gave me an excuse for them not being able to Support so many devices on Android. I think it's B.S.
I really only needed the app for the aninmorphic lens to desqueeze the video
It's also B.S. to sell a case and not know up front if it works.
Little by little they are going to lose sales anyway because most high devices have multiple lenses. They were ahead of the game when devices had one lens.

I emailed Moment telling them about this issue and they got back to me. They wanted some sample pictures so their "research team" could see. I honestly feel like that the research team should have researched this before releasing this case. Luckily they have a hassle free return policy which is what Im doing anyhow. It's a shame cause while many phones have a wide angle lens now a days I really liked their superfish lens, it gives otherwise boring pictures a unique look. I'm switching to the s20+ so I'm hoping with its smaller sensor it'll work with that model.

I tried to drag it out if them weeks ago but all I got was we should be testing it over the weekend.

I've got the moment case for the Note 8 and 9. However I use Sirui lenses with them. Quality glass at less than half the price of Moments, come with a clip to work on any phone while being compatible with Moments mount and case.

Main camera with a telephoto lens is better than using the telephoto lens/camera on the phone itself, besides you can only shoot manual with RAW on the main camera.

Either way I almost always bring a camera with me when I leave the house because I usually want higher quality images than I get from a phone.
