Well it isn't. You either like it or you don't.Exactly, it totally is. Which is why saying "new technology isn't for everyone" is a bit disingenuous.

Then you don't like that new technology. Either way. New technology always costs more money. I'm addressing the ones complaining of the cost... That's why I compared it to the cost of the note 20U 512...So it isn't a matter of opinion, then?
Not liking the fold doesn't necessarily mean you don't like new technology, it means you don't like the fold.
Yes I am. The trade in and price reduction made it a viable option to me. I love my fold, I keep the note 20 for back up only.
Curious what you like about it what do you think is better? It is a very nice phone I might be interested in looking into one when there might be a sale on either the two or the new one coming out at a later dateI went from note 20 ultra to the fold 2 and haven't looked back.
For me it's about the fold. I love the way it is smaller folded up, I can one hand it a lot easier for quick replys and other uses. I use the front screen a lot, it's nice to be able to use a phone and not have to stretch reach for something while on the go. When I am sitting and want the big screen, it's a flip away, flip and big screen, love the big screen. The fold is a good phone, I realize the camera isn't where everyone wants it to be, but for me they work good, I am looking forward to the under screen camera since I will see less of it, I won't even know if it works. The camera does not need 100x zoom either. Samsung isn't known for great cameras anyway. The fold gets criticized for bulk, well IMO, it's not any more bulky then the notes or S series for pocket use. The fold is thicker, but the others are wider..both make putting in pockets bulky. It boils down to which bulk you want. With the fold you get the best of both worlds, a small screen for the on the go phone usage, and flip it open for the tablet experience.Curious what you like about it what do you think is better? I guess, but that only impacts a minority of consumers. This is a worrying aspect...
Samsung kills the cameras on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 if you unlock the bootloader

Well that's the great thing about options, there are choices. I'm using the fold 2 and now the fold 3, so as a user I can say they are of quality. I give Samsung credit for the build quality of the folds.Don't think foldable devices are ready for prime time buyers in my opinion are beta testers. I would prefer the flip over the fold if I bought one but I am not.
Flossy also says every phone he reviews is a major major major go, it's his new every day phone. I don't think anyone is buying the fold for the camera myself.Flossy Carter, in his Z Fold 3 review, said anyone who has the S21 Ultra shouldn't get the Z Fold 3 because the S21 Ultra has better cameras and better battery life.
The day I let Flossy or any pretty much any reviewer directly influence my buying decisions is the day I should be put out to pasture.Flossy also says every phone he reviews is a major major major go, it's his new every day phone. I don't think anyone is buying the fold for the camera myself.
