Got to see this momma grass spider doing some work weaving the egg sac, she even had her spinners visible and actively working about. Thought it was pretty cool to get to observe. Got right in close with tbe usual 10x zoom, never threatened to bite. Was quite dark out so I "cheated" with a flashlight. Wanted to get a couple more shots but it started lightning and I ran inside. And about a minute later the flood gates opened, BIG time.
Glad to catch her in action though. She's a grass spider compared to the last one which was a wolf spider. They look very similar, but a grass spider(if it's female) has visible spinners, and a wolf spider does not.
