S22 pictures..show us what you got!

Got to see this momma grass spider doing some work weaving the egg sac, she even had her spinners visible and actively working about. Thought it was pretty cool to get to observe. Got right in close with tbe usual 10x zoom, never threatened to bite. Was quite dark out so I "cheated" with a flashlight. Wanted to get a couple more shots but it started lightning and I ran inside. And about a minute later the flood gates opened, BIG time.

Glad to catch her in action though. She's a grass spider compared to the last one which was a wolf spider. They look very similar, but a grass spider(if it's female) has visible spinners, and a wolf spider does not.

Those are really cool shots. I hope the rain storm didn't ruin her work.

Caught this the other morning heading out the door. We've had such a beautiful fall so far, from colors to temps and I've just been making such an effort to enjoy the beauty of it that I've found myself taking way less pictures of the leaves and trees...which is not a bad thing. 20221010_070141.jpg

Went out and checked this morning-- it did not affect her work at all it seems. :) Though daylight did show me she is injured with 2 legs gone. Still getting around and continuing her work though. Respect the resiliency.

Last night's moonrise. Was so pretty, the pictures don't do it justice. Was such a low light level, had to play with the Pro settings and use the manual features for shutter speed, focus, etc. 20221013_210612.jpg20221013_211228.jpg20221013_211022.jpg20221013_210918.jpg

In addition to all the cool spiders and butterflies this summer, seen a twther expansive variety of grasshoppers. Seen some straw colored ones, brown colored ones, green ones with brown legs, green ones with gold eyes brown ones with gold eyes, green woth black eyes, and now this one neutral colors with maroon colored eyes.

Never would have discovered this hobby if not for the tremendous capabilities that these S22 cameras possess.
