S25 Ultra might lose bluetooth connectivity on the S Pen.

I think this was done to appeal to both crowds. The S21U was the end of a separate big display, high-end Samsung flagship w/o stylus and the differences between it and the Note Ultra were minimal. I would think it was getting too costly to produce both types of devices, so Samsung streamlined its product line.
That and the foldables took the space of the Note line release timeframe.

I read they dropped this to get the phone thinner. I think skipping this update. I need to be more mindful of my impact on consumption. Any of these recent phones are powerful enough, and I suspect we’ll get the ai stuff in an update. I want sustainability. And i don’t use the pen that much, and never really used the bt feature, but since its being taken away- I have it and will start

Throughout the years of upgrading, I probably used the S-Pen less than a dozen times and disappointed with this move. 😔 😆

Unfortunately even though we're vocal about the things they remove we're not the majority. It's a fact that most don't use the Bluetooth feature on the S-pen. Honestly there's a large amount that don't even use the pen in general. Most consumers purchase the Ultra because it has the largest screen of the S series. For a normal consumer this will not be the number one complaint about the S series. I'm still mad at them for dumbing down the action memo features introduced on the Note 8 not to mention removing MST from their phones and watches. Manufactures are always looking for ways to cut cost and remove things that the masses either won't notice or care to see removed. I'm just happy to see that they're still including the S-pen because one day that won't be the case.
Yeah the day they stop the Spen altogether.....it will be just like any other phone.

Yes but isn't the Air command gone now with s25u?
No. We're losing air actions. Air command is the wheel with the shortcuts.

Yeah I was checking the Spen on my Fold 6(It's not Bluetooth )it does nothing the button but bring up the Spen bubble shortcut

Got to hold the S25 Ultra today at BestBuy. Did a side by side size comparison with my S24 Ultra.
But I have to say the flat sides with chamfered edges and rounded corners are big hit for me. Just the ergonomics of those changes will make it so much easier to hold IMHO.
I cannot wait to get this phone hopefully next week.

I also took my S-Pen from the S24U and it fits PERFECTLY in the S25U!
The Samsung Rep at the store kinda winked at me and said it does fit!

They have them on Amazon for a nice price and different colors.
