S3 not connecting to PC?

So this is more or less a hardware reference, and is this common and any way go fix it?
I have all my drivers, and everything is fine software wise.
It still.charges in a wall outlet, and in my PC, but it won't connect at all.
I am rooted, but that's the only alterations I've made.. And its an i747m S3 on rogers.. Can the micro USB slot mess up this way? Also have tried over a dozen usbs, all connect my other devices, but not the s3 ._.

Had same problem.For me it was due to USB port of my MOBILE.JUST MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS WORKING GOOD WITH USB PORT OF SAMSUNG S3.I dont know any other issue.
