s4 lag

Does anyone know if Samsung is working on another ota to fix the lagg issues on the s4? I know we got one update but that did not help. I did the developer option thing did not help either. Just curious.

Where are you experiencing lag? Many people have said that the first OTA did help their device; maybe we can help trouble shoot if you're more specific. Is it all the time or just when you're doing certain things? Thanks!

Samsung hasn't learned how to properly optimize software. Read the numerous threads on this issue. There are methods to reduce, but not eliminate the lag/animation stutter.

I have lag with scrolling through home pages camera and gallery app I have to go to the ram manager and clear it like every hour to have it run as smooth as possible.

The way I understand it, at best doing this doesn't help and at worst it makes things harder for the device to keep up. Android is fairly awesome at managing resources in this sense and just requires us to get a little bit out of it's way.

I just hope Samsung sends another ota to fix the lag issues. Its really annoying I even get keyboard stutters.
