S5 randomly vibrates

But there is no notification, it vibrates like it would for a txt, but even when it's on mute. When the volume is up, it uses the txt tone, I only just noticed this. It's like there's a notification, but they're is none?? I'm completely stumped

My phone vibrates randomly when I'm holding it or looking at it. No notifications or anything like that, but it kind of distorts the screen a little bit as well.

Turning off the smart alert did it for me! It was so annoying, and I had no idea the feature existed. At seemingly random times I would pick up my phone and it would instantly vibrate softly, which blew my mind since my phone is set to silent and NO vibrate 100% of the time (I get notifications on my Gear S2). Annoyed me for months until this thread. THANK YOU!
