To expand on my $am$ung comments earlier...
This is my total cost of ownership analysis of a $am$ung S6 64G vs an S5 w/ 64GB SD card:
$150 ($200 estimated upgrade fee from 32 -> 64 GB S6 - $50 SD card cost)
$240 ($10/month cloud storage x 24 months)
$100 (1 battery replacement)
---------------------------------
$490 total
Add another $100 if that replacement battery has some mileage on it by the time you sell. Add another $50 if you already own an SD card and don't need to buy one. Your TCO could be up to $640.
Compared to the $200-$300 you would have otherwise paid for the phone, $am$ung and friends are doubling or tripling your costs, depending on the specifics of your situation. $am$ung sees that Apple is a bigger financial success than technology success and wants to emulate.
I guess if toy have a defective s6, you'd have to replace the phone/battery, but if it's under warrenty or insurance, it wouldn't cost anything. I had to do that with my Droid 4 . I've had the s5 since launch and haven't replaced the battery. I don't even have a spare. If I stay with it, I might get another one.
You can use multiple cloud storages for free up to a certain point of data, so if you used all, you'd have to sort out your storage.
When I got my s5, all I heard complaints about was the plastic back. So I got a cover. Now I hear complaints about the glass back on the s6. Lol. Samsung can't win.
I think I'll stick with my s5 though. I like the card for photo storage and other storage. My internal memory is full. I know there are better ways, but I'm old school and still hardly use the cloud. I have Amazon Cloud Music Player, but have some music on my phone, just in case.
