Battery life was phenomenal on the S6A. Though have not checked lately to see if it was on ATT's list for Marshmallow update. Would hope it would get it at some point? Last year it was only a few days past the release of the S6/S6E that the Active was coming in June. So maybe by late March there will be a leak for a S7A.

I can't wait much longer, so it's either the S6A or S7. I don't know why they couldn't put a higher capacity battery on the S7, why not the 3500 mAh the S6A uses? Maybe they want to keep it as light as possible? Anyway, maybe with Marshmallow, more efficient cpu and slightly bigger battery, it will be acceptable. I also want to see what this new camera is like.

Is this for a specific carrier?

I'd love to pre-order but my upgrade isn't up until April.

I get the S7 edge probably Tuesday or Wednesday next week in relation to my work. Definitely before general retail availability. It'll give me a chance to get a free trial with the phone before I decide whether or not to preorder a regular S7 for personal use.

I'm going to pre-order and get the Edge for sure. Love the Note 5 but I rarely use the SPen.

Out of curiosity... Why are you choosing S7 over S7 edge? I currently have a G4 and am debating which S7 to go with. The S7 is slightly taller than my G5 but not as wide and thinner.

I miss a slightly smaller phone.... The G2 was the perfect size but the new Edge specific features seems to be more useful and I don't hate the size of my G4.

After seeing official images of both phones and having the colossal 3600mAh battery for the edge confirmed I'm having second thoughts. Both will be two-handed phones for me so I'm actually very, very tempted by the edge now!

I'm in. Was long past needing a replacement for my S4 when the S6 came along. The lack of SD card slot on the S6 last year was a real disappointment for me, and I think a lot of users out there. So, I plodded along for another year with my damaged and cobbled back together S4. I like Samsung. Have had great service from the one I have, wanted to stay with them, so I waited.

Return of the SD slot is most welcome and exactly what I was waiting for. I'll be ordering this thing Tuesday.

I'm out and won't buy a carrier branded device or from most android manufacturers until they get their act together with updates. Samsung especially has to get a grip on what it means to keep their flagships updated in a timely manner. Until then only will buy Nexus phones or an iPhone.

I'll not only wait for reviews, but for real user reports. It's pretty common for real users to discover issues and bug that reviewers don't notice in their short time with devices.

Same here. Was going to go iPhone 5SE but man, that camera has truly wowed me. I think Samsung has won me over on camera alone - impressive! Obviously iPhone 5SE can only have a camera as good as the existing iPhone 6S at best.
