My June 20th order is still BACKORDERED!

I can't believe that it is taking Samsung this long to process my order. Very upset!

Samsung offers two day shipping, but with July 4th weekend approaching, that will certainly add additional delays...IF Samsung is able to locate an unlocked S8 to ship to me. UGH!

I ordered an S8+ on Thursday, June 22. It said "ships in 2-3 weeks". Just received notice that it was shipped today, with delivery on Mon., July 3. A one week wait - not too bad.

Question is how do we send the trade in phone back? I received my Verizon S8, but zero paperwork in the box for the trade in. Nothing. I can print a shipping label at Samsung.com, but that's it. Very odd. I'm on comfortable sending this phone in without the ability to put any kind of receipt inside the box with it.

Samsung will send you an email with all the details including a shipping label. I got mine a day or two after the phone was delivered.

I boxed it up and dropped it off at a Fed Ex store. I was able to track it and see when it was delivered. The tracking number is tied to your order.

Did you get confirmation that they received it and honored the full credit? I am planning on sending in a prepaid phone for my trade, but am slightly worried it may get rejected. If that's the case, I will definitely be returning the S8 but hopefully the time frame will allow for that.

I logged into my account on Samung's website (after FedEx confirmed the delivery) and it showed as received. I guess it's still going through their system so I haven't heard either way. I'm not worried about my device as it meets or exceeds Samsung's requirements.

When I have done a trade in with Verizon it took some time but they gave me the agreed upon credit.

Mine was accepted and honored and by Samsung. I received a confirmation email too.

I always hate reading update threads. Makes my annoyed that mine S8 unlocked has not shipped yet. Ordered on 6/24 and still no shipping notice.
