S8 Oreo Update.....

I got it yesterday. Everything seems cool except that......I use a blue light filter (separate app) and still, the bar on top that displays the date, time, battery etc. is still bright as if without the filter.

I had this same thing happen with one of the updates (nougat?) on my S6 last year.

I can't remember how I resolved it. Any suggestions?

Yeah....I want to like it but just don't dig the 'hue' it gives the color. I much prefer the one I'm using because of that reason.

You probably need to wait for that app to be updated to Oreo. Not all apps created for nougat are fully compatible with Oreo. Same was for older versions.
You could notify the developer.
