Right when I was about to preorder my Note 9 and turn this one in, boom! Samsung decides to catch up on the security update lol. Any improvements noticed besides the July update?

I've noticed a big change in batt life. There is a discussion on the s9 subreddit about this. I'm not usually one to raise flags over minor changes but something definitely seems wrong. Hope it gets resolved w the next update.

Initially, I noticed change in battery life. After a couple of days, I realized that the Always On Display was 'on'.
I turned it off as I don't use it & battery life is back to normal.
I'm not sure why it was enabled after the update, or worse, why it took me two days to notice.

The August Security patch just came out. Maybe that will help....

Updates have the habit of changing user settings. After every update, read the changelog, and go through settings to confirm no changes made.
