I called my sams club and they have 3 in stock but i'm working till midnight so I will sadly miss out on them.
That is carp because if that was the case they wouldn't ring up for anyone.

the guy even told me they had them but couldnt sell them. i mentioned that many of Sams are selling them but no luck

Did you guys just cancel your orders and get refunded immediately? I paid via debit card so if it doesn't get refunded right away then I won't be able to go get one tonight 
I stopped a different sams club on the way home and was told they can't sell until the 19th. He was looking at his display instructions before I talked to him. This is in CA.

what a great run company, some locations are allowed to sell other arent, looks like sams is handling this as well as google so far
Considering it's a Wal-Mart corporation its likely run very well. Individual stores, on the other hand might not be ran as well.

On a chance I drove across town to our other Sams and they had 2 of the 16GB left. Time to call Google and cancel my pre-order.

I got mine 20 minutes ago in MN. I had to go to the service desk & wait until they found someone who knew if they had them. I got one of the last 2 left. Mine is charging so I can do the 4.1.1 update.

Sams in Centerville, Ohio (South Dayton) started to put them out in the am, but pulled them back. Around 1pm the official Sams site tweeted 'Google Nexus 7 16GB: budget-friendly price, modern hardware & latest Android OS. In all Club locations now for $246.84'
I was there around 2pm and they said they could not sell them or pre-order. I showed the twitter site and escalated and they agreed to call me once they could sell them. I was called a couple hours later to come pick it up, and around 4:30pm got one. Not sure how many they had left...

How much are you guys paying for it? It comes out to something like $267 without membership, right?
$246.84 + 7% tax = $264.12
I believe you get the $25 google play credit once signed in, but still charging it.

You do get the $25 credit after signing in. Mine came through in an email just after signing in.
