Could not resist...

Have not even had a chance to power it on yet, but it is charging and I am looking forward to sitting down with it tonight!

I did the same thing yesterday! I'm so WEAK! I just couldn't say no! I guess my poor Kindle Fire will have to go on eBay now! I didn't even need a new tablet.

I was just at Costco here in socal and all I saw were Vizio 8" tablets and Samsung Tab 2 7.0. No Google/ASUS tablets in sight. I wonder why we have seen no reports from Costco.

I picked up two from my Sam's Club on Friday - wanted three but they told me I was limited to two. Uh, wtf? I even asked if I could just do another transaction but they said it was tied to my membership card. Orly.

I went again the next day and pulled a ticket from the display and checked out with no issues whatsoever. Not sure why they were playing hardball with a bogus purchase limit but I'm glad I was able to get the three I wanted.

Now I have to refuse the two I pre-ordered from Google Play.

Only issue I ran into was the $25 credit on the third device - it doesn't look like he is going to get it. It asked for another credit card in order to get the credit. I thought that was odd since his account has the same credit cards as mine. I entered the usual number and it was rejected. I may have to call to lobby for him getting the credit as well.

Just picked up mine after visiting two Sam's Club stores... one said they sold out on the first day... the second said they had heard their was some legal thing that said they could not sell them, but today it was apparently ok... I laughed and took mine home.

Stopped at one earlier today. Was actually willing to sign up for a membership since I'd gladly take a 5 cent discount on gas. Unfortunately they didn't have the nexus 7 in stock.

The people on the floor said they don't have the Nexus and they should get it in a few weeks.

I then took the item number to Member Services, they searched for it on the computer and turns out they have five. None were in the front. They looked and found them in the back. Came up to me with a box of five.

Morale of the story, don't talk to floor reps, go to member services.

If you use the same Google play email account for the 3 device's you have you won't need 3 different $25 credit. Simply install it on the devices.

I went to the front and have them the item number and they all of a sudden found 3.....

I went to Sam's Club in Spartanburg,SC late Saturday afternoon and couldn't find any. I asked a clerk and she said that she saw something about it. She opened a notebook and pulled out the sales tag and went straight to the locked cabinet at customer service to retrieve mine.

Sams Club in Fullerton, CA in stock and other thoughts

FYI Just came come Sams CLub in fullerton they have N7 in stock. $247. This tablet is awesome....wow. Thats all i have to say. People that say that they need a 10 inch tablet should reconsider or go play with an N7. Build is awesome. Hardware and usage is awesome. Used google now inside of sams club and it worked flawlessly. This is the tablet to get. The iPad comes in a close 2nd to this.

Absolutely the way to go. Went to TWO Sam's yesterday, neither floor rep said they had in stock and said 'we should get it in the next few weeks'. Went to Sam's today, went STRAIGHT to Member Services with the item number and boom, they have 5. Of course, they had to search hard to find them but 20 minutes later and I'm golden!
