As I waited for my pre-order I hit Sam's Club and bought the 16gb model they had. Played with it for about a day and have to say this thing is so freaking buttery I felt like popcorn. I then posted it on eBay for a $50 profit and it sold in less than 1 hour. I think I might just buy one each day and make money while I wait for mine to show up. I hope I can get more than the first $25 play store bonus with the additional units.

I wish I would have seen this while Sam's was still open. I thought it was a bit strange that some stores would have it while a handful didn't.
I'll have to try again tomorrow with the item number.

The other part is with the one day pass if anything was wrong with your unit you could it return it to Sam's Club, so I bought a membership and will cancel it close to day 30.

It definitely helps to give the Sams associate the product number. I just got my N7 at Sams, but the associates had no idea they had it in stock until I gave them model number 793929. In fact, the associates had been telling inquiring customers all weekend that they did not have any N7's. The N7's at my Sams were locked in a cage and not on display.

I agree! I provided the item# and the associate immediately responded that they had 4 in stock. This was around 2:00 PM today.

I just left my local Sam's Club.... They have 10 - 16gb N7 in stock right now.... Just waiting to be purchased... Crazy!!!

Meanwhile, many ppl here is still waiting on their preorders!!!

You shouldn't be sending inventory out to B&M Stores until you've fullfilled all your Google Play preorders first!?!?!?!

anyone try the Dallas area?

i tried Sams North Garland, Northwest Hwy, and Buckner and no dice. Got the last 2 at the Office Depot on Centerville in Garland though. Check around and call some of the Office Depots, I was told they all got 5 or 6 units in. The North Garland one off 190 sold their last one this morning and as I said I got the last 2 at the Centerville store, so there are still some out there, at least there were this morning.

Over the weekend they stated they had none.

While possible that these came in a shipment this morning, I'm going to say that it was due to asking for an item number and the employees having to check inventory vs someone checking around the tablet area and not finding any.
