Well I stopped by the ATT store and checked out the hard clear case and the Body Glove. The hard clear looked like crap so I didn't even bother. The Body Glove one had a nice feel to it, but my only complaint was that it didnt seem to have enough proctection for the front edges. Almost seemed a little flush.
The Body Glove one looks nice, but I just can't see spending $30 on so little.
If I am going to spend $30+ for a case, I want it to be an Otterbox.
The one thing I appreciate about iPhones vs. any other phone are all the case and accessory choices available. iPhone users' problem is deciding which one, ours is finding one at all.
Well, it shouldn't bee all that difficult.
I mean the design is very simple... right?
Perhaps Samsung didn't think to send out mock-ups to manufacturers.
There is a T-Mobile store a couple of blocks from my office, so I stopped in to see what they had. I picked up a nice leather pouch (with small belt clip) that TM was offering for their Galaxy S. It fits perfectly.
I don't need a pouch, I need something to keep it from slipping from my hands. I'm feeble

I need a lanyard to strap around my wrist Word to Big Bird! The case was $25, but so are the Speck cases for iPhone and they seemed to be a much nicer build. Looks like I am holding out.
I went by two AT&T stores and neither had the case. So I ordered it from AT&T. I'd much prefer a skin though ... like from bestskinsever.com ... but they didn't even reply when I asked if they were going to make one.
Is there any word on an Otter Box case for this phone yet? I ordered a cheap silicone case for now though so that should help a little bit.
Picked up my Captivate today and managed to get the CSR to throw in the Body Glove for free. She also took ten bucks off of the cost of a car charger.
The ony silicone cases I have seen out there are the ones that will not ship until September.

Couldn't find any other cases other than what they have on this site.
I've got the GadgetGuard screen shield on the way so I can protect the screen. I may pick up one of those Amzer cases, but since it is at least annother month before they start shipping, I will see what other stuff comes available in the meantime.
Suite! Would make for a nice freebie, but not worth the $25 they were charging for it. Also it seems you can't find it online for cheaper???
Every day I'm coming to this thread hoping for news on new cases, when of when?? It is pretty silly that Samsung didn't take the opportunity to get a few more cases in circulation at launch.
