Samsung.com Orders

I have now had 5 labels created, 3 cancelled within an hour of creation, 1 went through as the buds were delivered Monday, and 1 still active with delivery stated for yesterday. Have always ordered from Samsung with no issues, guess this is my first time, but still before release date so hard to call it a serious issue yet. Souring me on the phone either way though.
 
So how are they not sending you the phone in a timely manner? If you get it by Friday which is the release date, then that is a timely manner.

While I agree with you. I think the point being made is that Samsung seems to think that we are all in our own bubbles without channels like this to share our experiences. For the rep to come out and say that it is not even feasible that others have received their devices would be ignorant and irresponsible from a customer service point of view. Especially considering, even if the customer was not on this forum it is likely that someone who has pre-ordered the phone is somewhat into tech and reads diff tech websites. Of which, many are reporting the early delivery of the phone.

Long story short, I think that it is frustrating when manufacturers/companies act as though we are none the wiser and will just accept their spin answers as gospel.
 
Not really. If you paid the extra for Express shipping and your order says delivery March 5th, they aren't sending it in a timely manner if it gets to you Friday. At this point it's worrisome to not even have a shipping label after seeing so many people getting their phones since Monday.

if you don't get it tomorrow, then worry. Mine was picked up Monday at 6am in texas. No further updates for 33.5 hours, then it magically left memphis, and is now in minneapolis, then bloomington at the sort facility.

BTW your order says expected delivery. Thats not a guarantee.

I get it, which is why I can't really be mad unless I don't get it Friday. I think another issue many of us have is that people who ordered last week have already received their phones, while many of us ordered within the first hours of preorders opening on Feb 21st.

Yeah definitely not following a FIFO method. Seems a little more like they are just pulling random orders out of a hat for fullfillment.

It might not be strictly FIFO but definitely they have some processing order. For those not received anything so far I believe there is something else going on with their orders and don't think it's going to ship today or tomorrow. In my personal opinion they would have shipped by now so don't think it'll change in next day or two unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong for others sake but it doesn't look good based on what I read from the responses.
 
Wow WTF. They really think we're dumb don't they? I was told the same more than once. Instead of returning the $14 they should offer another free item or huge discount on something.

My final piece just shipped, a wireless charger. It should be here Friday and my Active2 watch will be here tomorrow.

I was thinking this as well. I even called my bank to confirm that there wasn't any sort of fraud protection that kicked as suggested earlier posts. As of right now, the Samsung app order summary says, "Ship by March 4th" so I'm hoping that worst case scenario this is the case and I just get the phone Friday with 2 day delivery so its in hand for release day.

Hopefully, just curious which model is yours? I haven't actually seen any models getting specifically delayed for those who ordered way early so it shouldn't be that. Let's hope you see some updates today.

If your amex card has actually charges posted to your account and not pending then you have have to escalate it. Demand escalation and ask them you need a manager or someone higher up? They can't hold on to your money and not ship anything. That's the whole point why they don't charge until it's ship.

I really don't think there is anything wrong with a lot of these orders that haven't shipped, I just think it is Samsung being terrible at it. There is nothing wrong with my order, my buds came Monday, yet they keep creating shipping labels and cancelling them for my order.
 
Sending back free earbuds is a huge threat lol. I love the humor that some provide in this thread with sense of entitlement.

If you can't see humor in a post maybe it is time not to comment!
As for sense of entitlement. If I was serious the only entitlement I would be exercising is the fact I paid for the items!

There really seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Saw in another thread that someone else who ordered the AT&T variant on Samsung financing (exactly like me) is receiving the phone today.
 
Hopefully, just curious which model is yours? I haven't actually seen any models getting specifically delayed for those who ordered way early so it shouldn't be that. Let's hope you see some updates today.

My AT&T Ultra 128 Black is coming today! Ordered late afternoon on Thursday, 2/27. I used Samsung financing to pay for the phone. Screenshot_20200304-083844_FedEx.jpeg
 
Quick Fed Ex question. They made a delivery attempt today but no one was there to sign for it. Can I now manage my shipment to have them just leave it at the door tomorrow? That's what I chose, but just want to make sure they don't try to get a signature again.
