Not sure if this will help but by the time Fed Ex sent me a label alert and Samsung sent me an email ...the phone was already at the Distribution Center in Memphis so it seems the alerts are really late coming ... I hope you get yours asap, ??????

So that you don't have to worry about if you are in the first batch or stuff like that. If you want a model like 512 GB Ultra which is made in smaller quantities, your best bet is to pre order asap if you want it shipped in the first batch. If you are planning to buy the more widely manufactured base model and the more popular one then yeah you have some room to pre order late and still get on release day. But still advisable to pre order asap if you are planning to get the phone anyway.
