Samsung.com Pre-Orders

FWIW I just got off of the phone with a VZW rep and asked about your scenario. He explained it that the trade in credit is for 36 months. If you decide to pay it off early them you lose that promotional trade in allowance. The final payoff would be significatantly higher than if the promotional trade was applied. So in effect if you want the full tradein allowance you are ties tot he device for 3 years.
That is what I was told.
I don't know what to tell you but maybe talk to telesales or talk to your store. I've been with Verizon a long time and it's common to get wrong information. The balance owed on the phone goes down by your payment and the credit Verizon gives you. If the combined credit and your payment is $35 a month, the balance you owe goes down $35 every month. I've been down this road, my balance owed goes down the credit amount and my payment amount every month. Call again and ask for telesales.

Anyone else able to back me up on this

That makes no sense. Verizon is offering $800 to $1,000 trade in for phones even damaged phones as long as the battery is not swelling. They gave me $1,000 for my note 9

I used their website and the trade in it showed me was $440. I chatted with an agent using their chat app and was told $440 also.

This is what I get using the note 20 4G for trade in.

I punched in Best buy just to see what the trade-in would be to get an unlocked and it told me it was only $400 but you got $100 Best buy gift card. I'd rather do Samsung and use Ratuken plus earlier it told me 100 plus 50 in credit. So with Verizon do we lose anything having unlocked like Wi-Fi calling or anything else. I don't remember how it was when we left Sprint and had our S10 Plus that was our first time with unlocked cause we knew we were leaving Sprint cause others always had signal when we didn't.

Also when you buy from Samsung does it make you use your credit right away? I think someone said it did it's been both ways for me in the past but last time I think I had to use it right away.
Yes when purchasing from Samsung direct you do need to use credit during purchase but this year they allowed using Samsung care besides accessories. I don't use Samsung care. I can't speak to Verizon because I have not had them in years. I have used unlocked phones successfully on att and tmobile. I prefer t mobile. You can always flash OS with Odin.

I just ordered the S23 Ultra unlocked. (Graphite) Traded in Z flip 4 $400. If samsung increases the outer display size and functionality on the next lip. I'll seriously consider going with the flip 5. But that's a story for another day.

Just got my tracking too! If they're doing 2 day why is it not going out on Sunday? Fedex home delivery delivers on weekends no extra charge. Heck, I order my cell cases for my business and they do free shipping with fedex Home delivery and I get it on weekends sometimes. If it ships the 9th why not deliver it on Saturday? Shouldn't cost them any extra!

It's just a label.
No boxes yet to attach them to.
I council patience, my young Padawans.

Well I did it ordered the Lavender 512 Unlocked Ultra got the 15% back from Ratuken and my husband will use my link and I'll get $30 extra and it gave me $35 work discount too. Only thing is they are out of the bora purple buds pro 2 so I did graphite and I may just try to sell them. I have the buds pro in violet anyways. Now I need to order a case. He's getting the graphite phone and the buds pro 2 also.

I have been REALLY happy with T-Mobile all the way around. One thing I LOVE about it, is my bill, month-to-month, does not change. Same amount every month.

My account for the E.I.P. (device financing) is that this will be the first device that I am financing that will actually cost me something on my bill.

I have 6 lines (Myself, wife and 4 kids). We bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max for one of the kids because the credit and promotion would charge us $35.00/mo for the phone, but we got a $35.00/mo credit, so it did not raise the bill at all.

The S23U is costing the $15.04/mo, but every other device on our account is bought and paid for, so we have not had much use for the device financing helping keep our bill low.

Now, I can afford to pay the amount I owe on this and not worry about it, but if they are going to let me pay for it interest free, I may as well save the cash I have on hand for something else. :D Nice thing about T-Mobile Financing, I can pay the device off anytime without penalty and lower my bill back to where it was.
Exactly. T-Mobile has been awesome over the years. I use to have both T-Mobile and Verizon (hanging on to my grandfathered unlimited) , but about 6 months ok I completely cut Verizon loose and so glad I did. I'm saving so much money and have a piece of mind that I'm getting good quality service with my max plan and discount.

This pre order is just getting worse and worse. Have been playing around with which device I would want to trade it. Decided on my note 20 Ultra because of the watch 5 pro promo. Of course now you either get the watch for 100 or the 100 dollar credit. Yesterday it was both. Samsung is so annoying
